Supporting SEN Pupils in a London Primary School

This is an excellent opportunity to work as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a mainstream primary school within the London Borough of Lewisham. The role involves supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) in an ARP unit.
The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively with SEN needs and have experience working with children who require additional support. They should also be willing to participate in extra-curricular activities and be able to work effectively with small groups.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Coordinate effectively with the class teacher
- Work closely with a specific pupil in the class
- Perform safeguarding duties
