Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Revenue Manager to join our team at SAGE Publishing. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in safeguarding and improving the multi-million dollar revenue stream from global journal subscriptions. Key responsibilities include leading all aspects of the renewal process, ensuring smooth operations, and securing the company's financial health and sustainability.

Main Responsibilities
  • Strategic Revenue Growth: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to boost subscription renewal rates, optimize pricing models, and expand market reach.
  • Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Finance departments to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Customer Retention Strategies: Craft innovative retention strategies, analyze subscription churn, and improve customer engagement to minimize losses.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify and rectify process inefficiencies, implement improvements, and streamline the renewal and cash collection processes.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitor key results on subscription renewals, provide actionable insights, and make recommendations to propel strategic decisions.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strategic Innovator: Proven track record of developing and communicating effective strategies and roadmaps.
  • Experienced Revenue Manager: Proven record in revenue management or subscription services, with a history of surpassing revenue targets.
  • Customer Insight Authority: Deep understanding of customer segmentation, journey mapping, and personalized marketing strategies.
  • Data-Driven Decision Maker: Proficiency in using analytics and customer service metrics for informed decision making.
  • Communicative Leader: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with collaborators at all levels.
