About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Allied Health Professions and Nursing to lead our nursing and allied health professions teams in delivering high-quality patient care and achieving our Trust's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire the nursing and allied health professions workforce to deliver exceptional patient care and achieve high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient safety, patient experience, and quality of care.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer and other senior leaders to deliver a corporate nursing and allied health professions agenda.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with Care Quality Commission regulations and maintain high standards of clinical practice.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, carers, and external partners.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Registration and current live HCPC or NMC registration as a nurse.
  • Relevant clinical or nursing degree and a Master's degree in a relevant subject or equivalent level of experience.
  • Comprehensive continuing personal and professional development.
  • Ability to analyse complex problems and develop practical solutions.
  • High-level problem-solving approach, proactive, and resourceful.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrable success in leading and delivering significant change and performance.
