### Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our Residential Provision team as a Residence Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing of our students and ensuring the smooth operation of our student accommodation.

### Key Responsibilities

* During the academic year, you will be responsible for cleaning communal areas, student bedrooms, and bathrooms, as well as supporting the Residential Provision team in various tasks.
* During the summer months, you will work as part of a team to undertake deep cleaning of student accommodation, support the cleaning of rooms for guests, and assist with preparing student bedrooms for September arrivals.
* You will be required to work occasional weekends at peak periods, with reasonable notice provided and time in lieu granted.

### Requirements

* A caring nature and ability to take an interest in the wellbeing of our students.
* A flexible approach and 'can do' attitude.
* Ability to work both individually and as part of a team, showing initiative and following instructions from the Residential Cleaning Team Supervisor.
* Excellent time management skills and understanding of health and safety procedures.
* Previous experience in a cleaning role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
