About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Assistant to join our team at McCarthy Stone. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing domestic support and housekeeping services to our homeowners, ensuring their apartments are clean and comfortable. You will also be responsible for laundry services, cleaning of communal areas, and providing social support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic support and housekeeping services to homeowners, including cleaning and laundry
  • Assist with cleaning and maintenance of communal areas
  • Provide social support to residents, including chaperoning to medical appointments and other community-related services
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to ensure the smooth operation of the development
Requirements
  • A caring and compassionate personality with a desire to make a positive difference in people's lives
  • Experience in a customer care or service role, preferably in a similar environment such as health and social care, hospitality, or domestic services
  • Considerate, patient, and professional approach
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
