About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Baxter. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving the development of new business and launching new digital software solutions into the NHS and new countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve financial targets and related objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clinicians, IT professionals, and C-Suite executives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including mobile communication, medical device integration, waveform visualization, alarm and alert management, and more.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and solutions.
  • Manage and maintain a sales pipeline, forecasting revenue and identifying opportunities for growth.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in software direct sales at a hospital or system level, with a strong track record of success.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience.
  • Strong solutions selling experience, with a history of new account development and early-to-market digital and software solutions.
  • Technical understanding of the Healthcare IT environment and working knowledge of clinical and medical processes and workflows.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tool and track record of sales pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Strong work ethic, with a commitment to details, organization, and time management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of customers and staff externally and internally.
