About the Role

eGain Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales initiatives by qualifying inbound marketing leads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound leads using the MEDDIC framework, research leads before introductory calls to understand their digital engagement and market position, prepare customized presentations for introductory calls, identify customer needs, pain points, and vision during calls, document details in CRM, and report weekly.
  • Collaboration with Sales & Marketing: Align with the marketing team on campaign objectives and lead generation strategies, provide feedback on lead quality, collaborate with sales on lead handover.
  • CRM Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate CRM records, track lead metrics, and analyze trends to improve qualification processes.
  • Market Research & Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and participate in industry events, refining qualification strategies, continuously improve lead qualification through engagement in ongoing learning about eGain's products.
  • Pipeline Development: Perform prospecting activities leveraging eGain tools to maintain pipeline, leverage channels to perform prospecting activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of the MEDDIC sales qualification framework.
  • Excellent communication (written and presentation), analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
