eGain Corporation is seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to drive sales initiatives and qualify inbound marketing leads. As a key member of our team, you will leverage the MEDDIC sales qualification methodology to ensure high-quality leads are handed over to our Client Directors, maximizing conversion potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough research on leads to understand their digital engagement and market position.
  • Identify customer needs, pain points, and vision during calls, documenting details in CRM and reporting weekly.
  • Nurture leads with standardized content and engagement schedules via email, LinkedIn, and calls.
  • Ensure leads meet criteria before qualifying for sales opportunities and disposition non-advancing leads in CRM.
  • Provide feedback on lead quality.
  • Manage CRM records, track lead metrics, and analyze trends to improve qualification processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
