About the Role

Baxter is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our digital health solutions team, you will be responsible for driving the development of new business and launching new digital software solutions into the NHS and new countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business plans to drive revenue growth and market share in the digital health solutions space.
  • Partner with hospital trusts and leverage our digital health and software applications portfolio to enhance outcomes for patients and their caregivers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including mobile communication, medical device integration, waveform visualization, alarm and alert management, and more.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clinicians, IT professionals, and C-suite executives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in software direct sales at a hospital or system level, with a strong track record of new account development and revenue growth.
  • Strong solutions selling experience, with a history of launching new digital and software solutions.
  • Technical understanding of the healthcare IT environment and working knowledge of clinical and medical processes and workflows.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tool and track record of sales pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Strong work ethic, with a commitment to details, organization, and time management skills.
  • Effective negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of customers and staff.
