About the Role

eGain Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to drive our sales initiatives and qualify inbound marketing leads. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and reducing service costs through our knowledge management software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Qualify inbound leads using the MEDDIC framework to ensure high-quality leads are handed over to our Client Directors
  • Research leads before introductory calls to understand their digital engagement and market position
  • Prepare customized presentations for introductory calls
  • Identify customer needs, pain points, and vision during calls, document details in CRM, and report weekly
  • Nurture leads with standardized content and engagement schedules via email, LinkedIn, and calls
  • Ensure leads meet criteria before qualifying for sales opportunities and disposition non-advancing leads in CRM
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector
  • Strong understanding of the MEDDIC sales qualification framework
  • Excellent communication (written and presentation), analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
