Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager at eGain, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales initiatives by qualifying inbound marketing leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Qualify inbound marketing leads using the MEDDIC sales qualification methodology to ensure that leads handed over to our Client Directors are of high quality and have a strong potential for conversion.
  • Research leads before introductory calls to understand their digital engagement and market position.
  • Identify customer needs, pain points, and vision during calls, document details in CRM, and report weekly.
  • Nurture leads with standardized content and engagement schedules via email and calls.
  • Ensure leads meet criteria before qualifying for sales opportunities and disposition non-advancing leads in CRM.
  • Provide feedback on lead quality.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, track lead metrics, and analyze trends to improve qualification processes.
  • Develop and execute pipeline development strategies to drive revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
