About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our team in a Low Secure Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing person-centred care to patients with severe and enduring mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that nursing practice is consistent with the Care Programme Approach and promotes the direct involvement of patients and carers in the development of the plan of care.
- Identify personal learning and training needs through appraisal and personal development plans linked to service responsibility.
- Act as the named nurse for a group of patients and provide an individualised plan of care for each patient.
- Delegate appropriate tasks to junior staff and manage information with other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
