About the Role

We are committed to delivering quality driven mental health services. As a Mental Health Nurse Leader, you will be responsible for supporting your care team, working within governance processes to ensure effective management of the ward in all respects.

The role is based on Reed ward, a 13-bedded female organic admission ward providing care for those with an organic mental health presentation.

You will work collaboratively with the Clinical Team Leader and Clinical Nurse Specialist to manage the ward's environmental, financial, and clinical aspects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the care team and implementing individualized and responsive care
  • Working within governance processes to manage the ward effectively
  • Collaborating with the Clinical Team Leader and Clinical Nurse Specialist to manage the ward's environmental, financial, and clinical aspects

This post requires full PMA fitness and the ability to work shifts including nights and weekends over a 7-day period.
