About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Student Services team as an Enrichment Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to lead on developing, delivering, and coordinating enrichment activities that support students to build resilience, stay safe, and develop employability, personal, and social skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver enrichment programs that engage high numbers of students and support their personal and social development.
  • Work with colleagues to plan, coordinate, and deliver activities that promote student participation and engagement.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for students to develop their skills and confidence.
  • Collaborate with external organizations to develop enrichment opportunities that meet the needs of our students.
  • Contribute to the development of a student-orientated culture that puts students' needs at the heart of everything we do.
Requirements
  • Qualified to Level 3 or above in an appropriate area (Youth & Community, Education, Psychology, Sociology, Health & Social Care, or IAG).
  • Experience of working with young people aged 16-19 years from a variety of backgrounds, understanding the needs and issues surrounding them.
  • Experience of planning, coordinating, and delivering activities for young people in an educational setting.
  • Able to use initiative, organise, and prioritise to meet the needs of students and the department.
