Position Overview

The Pensions Ombudsman is an independent entity in the United Kingdom dedicated to addressing grievances and conflicts associated with private pension schemes.

As a neutral organization, we play a crucial role in investigating and resolving complaints that have not been satisfactorily addressed regarding pension management.

Our services are provided at no cost, and we possess the legal authority to issue decisions that are final, binding, and enforceable in a court of law.

Our mission is both demanding and prominent, as we strive to deliver equitable outcomes for individuals while also identifying areas for enhancement within the pensions sector.

We handle approximately 9,000 inquiries and 7,000 pension-related complaints annually, with many being resolved without necessitating a comprehensive Ombudsman ruling.

Key Responsibilities

As a pivotal member of the leadership team at the Pensions Ombudsman, you will oversee our entire portfolio of corporate services and strategic initiatives.

Your role will encompass operational management of essential support functions, including:
