About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Premier Foods. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and delivering multiple end-to-end capital-based infrastructure projects, ensuring the highest engineering and professional standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver capital-based infrastructure projects from conception to completion
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
  • Lead and manage multi-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and customers
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and opportunities
  • Develop and implement project evaluation and reporting processes

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Up to 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Extensive experience in capital project management, with a customer-focused approach
  • Conversant with relevant legislation and regulations
  • Demonstrable record of successful project delivery in a similar industry
  • Experience of indirect management of multi-functional teams
  • Experience of modern manufacturing practices
  • Knowledge of food processing and associated equipment
  • Collaborative approach, with ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to deliver results on time and cost in a pressurized and trade union environment
