Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled UK Design Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting the growth and project agendas of our Brakes and Fresh Direct businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering design, systems expertise, and design authority to support the innovation, development, and construction of new or re-configured buildings.
  • Identify and implement new technology platforms to enhance sites' ability to deliver continuous improvement and develop the supply chain.
  • Ensure the delivery of the build plan, working alongside Regional Engineering Managers to achieve key metrics including delivery to time, cost, and quality.
  • Design and deliver facilities management assets that meet business requirements from a colleague, legal, and reliability perspective.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business, including senior leaders at a UK and site-specific level.
About You

This is an ideal role for a motivated and experienced professional looking to take on a new challenge in a growing, fast-paced organization. You will have a significant previous experience within FMCG/construction or an industrial environment and be proficient in AutoCAD. A relevant qualification (HND/Degree level or equivalent) is required, and you will be highly motivated by the challenge of continuous improvement and value engineering for project delivery.
