About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Behavioural Teaching Assistant for Primary Schools. You will be working with pupils who require additional support due to their social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) difficulties.

As part of the SEMH Outreach Team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned programmes of intervention, conducting activities with small groups or individual pupils, and assisting pupils in developing literacy, numeracy, and social skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned programmes of intervention with pupil(s) of primary school age.
  • Develop and implement plans to support pupils' educational and personal growth.
  • Conduct activities with small groups or individual pupils after discussion and planning with the Line Manager.
  • Liaise with mainstream school staff on general welfare and behaviour matters.

Competitive Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Additionally, we provide a range of benefits, including pension scheme and occupational health membership.
