Residential Child Care Team Lead

Job Purpose: As a Senior Residential Practitioner, you will lead a team of practitioners in supporting the development of children and young people in residential settings. This involves fostering positive relationships, maintaining strong bonds, and creating a safe and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake key worker role, implement care plans, conduct risk assessments, and devise support and health plans.
- Provide and maintain a safe, stimulating, and secure living and learning environment, supporting day-to-day physical and emotional needs.
- Work with professionals and communities of origin to sustain links and understand past problems.
- Nurture children's ambitions for their future and their learning, both in and out of school.
- Support children and young people's emotional, mental, and physical health needs to build self-esteem.
Qualifications: A minimum of NVQ/QCF Diploma Level 3 in Residential Child Care and QFC Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services Level 5 is required. Funding is available for those who do not hold this qualification.
