Child Welfare Specialist Leader

As a leader in the field of child welfare, you will be responsible for guiding our staff in the implementation of best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation, and driving continuous improvement in our services. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us to create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for all residents.
We offer a competitive salary, £50 per hour DOE, plus additional benefits such as monthly attendance bonuses, paid study leave, and continuous professional development opportunities. Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement effective strategies to improve the lives of children and young people in care, working closely with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services
• Provide guidance and support to staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality care and support
• Stay up-to-date with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation affecting the sector, ensuring compliance and best practice
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth running of our Residential Care Home
• Continuously evaluate and improve our services, identifying areas for growth and development
About You
• Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in the field of child welfare or social care
• Strong understanding of relevant policies, procedures, and legislation affecting the sector
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, residents, and families
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities
• Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry developments
