Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Support Professional to join our team at PK Education. As an Inclusion Specialist, you will work with vulnerable children in a pupil referral unit setting, providing support and guidance to help them overcome social difficulties and emotional dysregulation.

The ideal candidate will possess experience working with Key Stage 3 children who exhibit challenging behavior and be committed to making a positive impact on their lives. This is a full-time position of 32.5 hours per week, term time only, on a permanent contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting children with social difficulties, emotional dysregulation, and challenging behavior
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with students, staff, and families
  • Maintaining up-to-date DBS clearance or obtaining it within a specified timeframe
Requirements:
  • Level 2 teaching assistant qualification or above
  • Diploma in Youth Work or equivalent
  • degree in Education or Psychology
