Job Overview:

A dynamic and experienced leader is sought to manage our new 2-bed children's home in Huddersfield. As the Registered Manager, you will have full autonomy to lead your team and ensure the smooth running of daily life within the home.

About the Role:

We are looking for someone who can inspire and lead their team to provide a warm and friendly environment that promotes positive outcomes for children and young people. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring care and education plans tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of colleagues to provide high-quality care and support.
  • Facilitate professional development to help team members achieve their career potential.
  • Recruit and support a motivated team to create a fantastic workplace culture.
  • Organize work patterns, training, and services to support childcare practices.

Requirements:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare) or willing to work towards this qualification.
  • Experience working with children and young people with challenging behaviors in a residential setting.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant legislations, including The Children's Homes England Regulations 2015 and The Children Act 1989.
