Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Children's Home Manager to join our team at Esland.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small, supportive environment that values work-life balance and offers a competitive salary of up to £50,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications), plus a bonus structure with the potential to earn up to £8,500 (based on achievable KPIs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of dedicated staff in providing high-quality care and support to children in our residential home
  • Develop and implement effective care plans that meet the individual needs of each child
  • Ensure the home is run in accordance with Ofsted regulations and best practice
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of children
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant position within the last 5 years
  • At least 1 year's experience in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent (or close to completion)
  • Previous experience of participating in Ofsted inspections
  • Strong knowledge of legislations, regulations, and best practice surrounding the care of children
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to see tasks through to completion
  • Candour and strong sense of integrity
  • Ability to be caring and compassionate while remaining steadfast and upholding rules and regulations
  • Full, UK driving licence issued in the UK
  • Right to work in the UK with no restrictions
  • Candidates must be over the age of 21 to meet industry regulations
