We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Children's Home Manager to join our team at Esland. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of our residential children's home. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safety, well-being, and happiness of our young residents, while also maintaining a high level of care and support for our staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise a team of staff to ensure the highest standards of care and support for our young residents
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the home
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant position, such as a deputy manager or home manager
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent
  • Previous experience of participating in Ofsted inspections
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, young people, and external partners
