About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead our new 2-bed children's home in Huddersfield. As the leader of our team, you will have full autonomy over the day-to-day running of the home. Your primary focus will be on providing a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment for the children in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated team to create a warm and friendly home environment.
  • Oversee individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each child.
  • Promote a positive culture where staff and children feel valued and empowered.
  • Evaluate and implement effective strategies to meet the changing needs of the children and the home.
  • Maintain open communication with stakeholders, including parents, carers, and local authorities.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience managing an Ofsted-rated children's home.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare) or working towards it.
  • Strong knowledge of current legislation, including The Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015, and the Children's Act 1989 & 2004.
  • A full UK driving license.
