About the Job:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to maintaining and enhancing our health and safety management systems. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive site visits, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Safety and Compliance: Conduct site visits, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  2. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  3. Collaborative Support: Provide hands-on support and guidance to colleagues, customers, and external stakeholders.
  4. Communication and Training: Communicate best practices for health, safety, and environmental management across the organisation.
  5. System Maintenance and Improvement: Assist in maintaining and improving Z-Tech's Health and Safety management systems.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of health and safety industry standards, environmental best practices, and risk assessment.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum).
  • IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management or NEBOSH Environmental Certificate.
  • Proficiency in Learning and Adaptability: Ability to learn and utilise various specialist software and databases.
  • Decision Making: Confidence in making decisions within the role's responsibilities.
  • Analysis and Problem-Solving: Proficiency in identifying necessary safety measures and controls to ensure tasks are conducted safely.
