We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Manager to join our team in the field of environmental contracting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have experience in managing environmental projects, including soil and ground remediation, water treatment, heavy civil construction, building decommissioning, land reclamation, and rehabilitating sensitive habitats. You will work closely with our project managers and clients to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and schedules.
  • Supervise and train personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks safely and effectively.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, including identifying and mitigating potential risks and delays.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure that all work meets the required standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that projects are completed successfully and meet client expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, engineering, or construction management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in environmental contracting or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and delays.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
