  • Company Overview

    As a Health, Safety & Environmental Specialist at Michael Page, you will be responsible for ensuring our site meets demanding engineering specifications and addresses customer-specific needs across various industrial and consumer applications.

  • Salary and Benefits

  • Responsibilities

    1. Keeping the site up to date with the latest Environmental, Health, Safety, and Process Safety (PSM) legislation and best practices.

    2. Overseeing Effluent Treatment Plant compliance, including coordinating water and air emissions sampling and analysis, and ensuring all records are maintained to meet regulatory and company standards.

    3. Managing controlled waste disposal, optimizing waste budget, and performing contractor and facility audits to ensure compliance. Maintaining detailed records of waste transactions.

    4. Overseeing the reporting system and internal systems to ensure full statutory compliance at both business and departmental levels.

    5. Assisting in site-wide risk assessments, industrial hygiene monitoring, and new chemical assessments, including COSHH risk assessments and control measures.

    6. Supporting site emergency planning systems, maintaining Duty Manager support systems, and facilitating scheduled emergency drills.

    7. Conducting EHS audits, performing routine site inspections, and ensuring EHS compliance standards are upheld.

    8. Supporting Process Safety Standards, including advising on Fire Safety, Hazardous Area Classification, and Process Hazard Assessments.

  • Requirements

    1. NEBOSH qualified.

    2. ISO9001 & ISO14001 experience, ideally Internal Auditor trained.

    3. Strong data and metrics focus with experience in root cause investigation and related techniques.
