Safety and Compliance Officer

We are a leading provider of personnel services to the construction industry, and we are committed to providing our clients with the highest quality staff. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Safety and Compliance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to throughout the construction process.
Key responsibilities include developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety policies, procedures, and practices on site, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and standards, conducting regular risk assessments and site inspections, and providing health and safety training to all site personnel. You will also maintain accurate records of health and safety activities, incidents, and compliance, and liaise with site managers, contractors, and external bodies to promote a culture of safety.
The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH or equivalent qualification, at least 5 years of experience in a health and safety role within the construction industry, and strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, excellent communication and training skills, and the ability to influence and engage with a diverse team.
The salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
