About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as the Director of Critical Care and Trauma Networks. This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage the delivery of critical care and trauma services across Cheshire and Mersey, working closely with our partners to improve patient outcomes and experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the core SSCN team to deliver an annual work plan aligned to the SSCN Specification and national and local regional needs and priorities.
  • Facilitate cross-organisational engagement and activity to develop services and care in a consistent and equitable manner.
  • Create a climate of innovation and improvement, leading to the delivery of safer, higher-quality patient-centred care.
  • Provide oversight and facilitate coordination of patient pathways between providers to ensure equitable access to specialist resources and expertise, improving outcomes and quality standards.
