Director of Critical Care and Trauma Networks

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as Director of Critical Care and Trauma Networks. This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage the core SSCN team, ensuring the delivery of an annual work plan aligned to the SSCN Specification and reflective of national and local regional needs and priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the core SSCN team to deliver an annual work plan aligned to the SSCN Specification.
- Facilitate cross-organisational engagement and activity to develop services and care in a consistent and equitable manner.
- Create a climate of innovation and improvement, leading to the delivery of safer, higher-quality patient-centred care.
- Provide oversight and facilitate coordination of patient pathways between providers to ensure equitable access to specialist resources and expertise, improving outcomes and quality standards.

Requirements- Extensive experience of working within a higher senior leadership position within an acute provider setting.
- Proven delivery of strategic leadership at an organisational or network level.
- Extended post-registration higher-level clinical and operational management experience.
- Demonstrable evidence of successful operational and business planning and subsequent service delivery and evaluation.
