Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Paediatric Psychology team, providing specialist psychological assessment, formulation, intervention, and evaluation to children and families.

The successful candidate will work closely with AHP, medical, and nursing colleagues to provide teaching, training, consultation, and supervision as required.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team, contributing to the ongoing development of both the team and individuals within it.

Main Duties
  • Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation, intervention, and evaluation to children and families.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with AHP, medical, and nursing colleagues within the service and wider partner agencies.
  • Offer placements to Psychologists in training and link in with regional and national groups for psychologists in paediatrics and diabetes care.
Requirements
  • Registered with HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Experience of complex psychological assessment, formulation, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Experience of the application of clinical psychology in different cultural contexts.
