About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Neonatal Nurse to take on a leadership role, working closely with our senior team to deliver exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for leading shifts, coordinating care, and mentoring junior staff. Your excellent clinical and communication skills will enable you to work effectively with our multidisciplinary team, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to newborns and their families, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Lead and coordinate shifts, working collaboratively with the senior team to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Mentor and support junior staff, promoting a culture of learning and development.
  • Contribute to the development of our team, sharing your expertise and knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in health promotion activities, promoting the well-being of our patients and their families.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Registered Nurse Adult or Child qualification.Qualified in Speciality (Neonates), ENB 405 or equivalent.Minimum 2 years post-registration experience on a neonatal unit at Band 5.Evidence of Neonatal Advanced Life Support training.Evidence of Standard of Student Supervision & Assessment training.Experience of supporting and teaching junior colleagues.What We Offer
