Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a clinical caseload across Huntingdonshire, providing specialist assessments and care to patients with Multiple Sclerosis.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical lead and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a coordinated service, representing the MS team at meetings, case conferences, and discharge planning.
  • Provide patients and their families with information on the standards expected from the team, adhering to Trust risk assessment, risk management, and infection control policies and procedures.
  • Maintain NMC registration and professional standards, seeking and using professional support appropriately.

Requirements

  • Current NMC Registration.
  • Documented evidence of own continuing professional development.
  • Two years post registration experience in a multi-disciplinary team, with a basic theoretical and practical knowledge of MS.
  • Ability to use tact, diplomacy, and persuasion in implementing change, and to work independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines.
