Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered General Nurse to join our Out of Hours Community Nursing Team in Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in their own homes, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and flexible nurse to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing care for patients with a range of needs, including those with chronic conditions, disabilities, and acute illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work autonomously as an autonomous practitioner within the Out of Hours Countywide Team
  • To provide high-standard nursing care and interventions within the patient's own home
  • To assess, interpret, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment to patients within professional guidelines
  • To promote independence and avoid hospital admission wherever possible
  • To contribute to risk assessments and health and safety assessments
  • To communicate effectively with patients, carers, and colleagues
