Senior Anatomical Pathologist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Pathology Specialist to join our team at Ampath Laboratories. As a Diagnostic Pathology Specialist, you will be responsible for providing a diagnostic anatomical pathology / histopathology consultative service to referring clinicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on life-threatening results
- Continuous education for pathology laboratories
- Maintain client relations to promote the image of Ampath
- Marketing
- Oversee the standard of work performed, overall operation, and administration in the laboratory
- Promotion of professional standards and expertise
- Provision of continuous pathology/clinical laboratory service: consultation with doctors
- Control and monitoring of results
- Result verification
- Reporting
- Participation in peer group
- Sign-out all abnormal results according to criteria
Requirements:
FC Path(SA), HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field, MBChB, M Med (Pathology)
