Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Speech Pathologist to work within our SEN Schools throughout the UK. As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to support the needs of our students with complex communication issues.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Clinical Teams and work with a diverse group of students, each with their unique needs and challenges. You will be part of a well-established and highly respected team, known for their expertise in working with neurodiverse individuals and those with complex communication needs.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough assessments and developing personalized treatment plans to support students with complex communication needs.
  • Providing high-quality speech and language therapy services, including individual and group sessions, to support students' progress and development.
  • Collaborating with other professionals, including teachers, psychologists, and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
  • Developing and implementing new programs and initiatives to support students with complex communication needs.
  • Contributing to the professional development of colleagues and students, through training and mentoring opportunities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized Speech and Language Therapy degree and HCPC registration.
  • Experience of working with students with complex communication needs, including those with Autism, ADHD, and complex trauma.
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with best practice in speech and language therapy.

Salary Estimate
