We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor, you will use your clinical expertise to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You will work on complex cases involving chronic pain disorders and neurological, physical, and mental health conditions while using your compassion and experience to help customers move forward with their lives.

The role can be both challenging and rewarding, which is why we provide a tailored training programme to help you thrive. You will begin with 6 weeks of training before assessing customers and have ongoing support and mentorship in your role with us.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.
  • Produce reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine a person's eligibility for benefits.
  • Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with the support of regular feedback and supervision.
Requirements
  • You must have a valid HCPC registration number.
  • You should have at least 1 year of broad post-registration experience gained within or outside of the NHS.
  • You MUST have the right to work in the UK; we cannot offer sponsorships.
  • You should have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • You should be comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.
