About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity to utilise your skills in conducting comprehensive assessments for claimants of the Government's disability allowance (Personal Independence Payment).
You will be responsible for evaluating how a claimant's health condition or disability affects their day-to-day life through various assessment methods, including initial reviews, paper-based, face-to-face, video, or telephone assessments.
We offer a 12-week training program with dedicated time for self-development learning and close mentorship to support your ongoing development.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the impact of a claimant's health condition or disability on their daily life
- Create detailed reports of the evidence gathered during each assessment
- At least one year of post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic
- Fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, or other)
- Exceptional observational and communication skills
- Able to type at a minimum of 30 words per minute
- Demonstrable experience with using IT and Microsoft Office
The annual salary is £38,500, with a 5% retention bonus. Upon achieving remote approved status, the salary increases to £39,900 plus up to 10% bonus, and upon achieving face-to-face delivery, the salary rises to £41,500 plus up to 10% bonus.
