Job Title: Care Manager - Home Care

Job Summary:

Voyage Care Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Manager to lead our residential service in Bridgwater, Somerset. As a Care Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service, developing and implementing person-centered support plans, and ensuring the highest standards of care are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the service, including supervising staff and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement person-centered support plans, taking into account the individual needs and goals of service users.
  • Conduct care needs assessments, recruit and induct new colleagues, and complete supervisions and appraisals.
  • Ensure the service meets regulatory, legislative, and contractual requirements, including relevant notifications and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Manage the service's budget and ensure effective financial management.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a CQC registered manager in a care management role.
  • Willingness and ability to undertake CQC registration and a Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex individuals with mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviors.
