About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Manager to join our team at Voyage Care Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our residential service in Bridgwater, Somerset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
  • Develop and implement person-centered support plans, conducting regular care needs assessments and reviews.
  • Recruit, induct, and supervise a team of colleagues, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Complete supervisions, appraisals, and medication audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Attend multi-disciplinary meetings, contributing to the development of care plans and strategies.
  • Manage the service's budget, ensuring financial stability and growth.
  • Ensure regulatory, legislative, and internal requirements are met, including notifications and adherence to policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a CQC registered manager in a care management role.
  • Willingness and ability to undertake CQC registration and a Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviors.
