Job Summary:

Voyage Care Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Service Manager to lead our residential service in Bridgwater, Somerset. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Develop and implement person-centered support plans, conducting thorough care needs assessments and recruiting and inducting new staff members.
  • Lead a team of care professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services.
  • Collaborate with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and families to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users.
  • Manage the service's budget, ensuring effective financial management and reporting.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure the service meets regulatory and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in care management and leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, service users, and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
