About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide high-quality administrative support to our staff and patients, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to our staff and patients, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondence.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases, including patient information and administrative documents.
  • Assist with the coordination of meetings, events, and projects, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing materials.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our patients and staff, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals and objectives, sharing knowledge and expertise to improve our services.

Requirements

  • 4 GCSE Grade 4 and above or equivalent, to include Maths and English.
  • NVQ Level 3 - Business Administration or relevant qualification/experience.
  • Clerical experience, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and patients at all levels.
