Technical Role

As a Shift Engineering Technician at TQR, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Your key responsibilities will include providing technical expertise and support to Production Technicians, acting as a process expert for specific equipment, and mentoring Production Technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Salary Information

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including private medical insurance, life assurance, and a matched contribution pension scheme up to 10% of salary.

Work Schedule

You will be required to work a continuous 3-on-3-off day shift or 3-on-3-off night shift pattern, comprising 11:00 to 23:00 for days and 23:00 to 11:00 for nights. This will involve working a total of 37 hours per week, with regular breaks and time off during your shifts.

Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of an ONC or HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, along with proven engineering experience working within high-speed, automated, or high-volume assembly/manufacturing environments. You will also require excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
