Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing/NPI Engineer to join our team at DK Recruitment. As a key member of our multifunctional team, you will be responsible for introducing new parts into our current manufacturing process.

Main duties include:

  1. Developing and supporting Health & Safety regulations, Company Quality and Environmental systems of work, and all other Company policies and procedures.
  2. Working positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel.
  3. Maintaining and improving current products with regards to manufacturing process, including make to print BOMs.
  4. Reviewing and developing the manufacturing process for new parts and make to print orders in line with current processes and production requirements.
  5. Attendance of MRB, investigation and solving of current production process issues.
  6. Ensuring production processes and SOPs efficiently utilize materials, methods and personnel.
  7. Supporting the testing and replacement of obsolescent consumables.
  8. Designing and managing the introduction of new tooling related to current production processes.
  9. Participating in PFMEA and capability/repeatability improvement activities.
  10. Maintaining of H&S risk assessments for current processes and support of new risk assessments where required.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
  • Or Working Experience matching expectations of role.
  • 3 years + experience of working within manufacturing engineering teams within a production environment.
  • Results orientated.
  • Proven problem solving skills.
  • Flexible approach to working to meet project deadlines.
  • Proven capability to learn and implement new skills and processes.
  • Attention to detail and understanding of the business environment.

The estimated salary for this position is £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
