Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technical Director to join our team at CV-Library's Plymouth site. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for leading a high-volume manufacturing environment and driving business success through innovative solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
  2. Investigating equipment breakdowns and implementing countermeasures to reduce losses.
  3. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and coaching on methodologies and tools.

You will also be responsible for engaging in planning processes for maintenance activities and recording details in designated systems.

This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and encourage effective collaboration. A HNC or Degree level education in Engineering/Mechatronics is essential, along with experience in quality systems and process improvement.

The estimated salary for this position is £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include life assurance, private medical insurance, and a matched contribution pension scheme.
