We are committed to creating a barrier-free future for deaf people and are seeking an experienced and compassionate Deaf Health Care Professional to join our team in Manchester.

About the Role

This 12-month fixed-term contract will see you working closely with a specific client, providing support with independent living skills, emotional support, medication management, and maintaining their safety, privacy, and dignity.

Our client group includes individuals with complex needs, requiring a high level of support and care.

Requirements
  • Experience of working with deaf individuals, including those who are culturally deaf
  • Excellent communication skills and a good understanding of BSL
  • Ability to work with individuals with Learning Disabilities and/or Mental Health where diagnosis is complex and may present challenging behavior
  • Previous experience in supported living services or residential care settings

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • $50,000 - $60,000 per annum salary range (dependent on experience)
