Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Director to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business development strategies that align with our goals, while ensuring transparent governance and robust reporting mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversee Income Generation, Public Affairs, Partnerships, and Communications to support our mission.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies that align with our goals, while ensuring transparent governance and robust reporting mechanisms.
  • Ensure our brand and communications strategies are effective, leveraging digital technology to expand public awareness and support fundraising efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with Safeguarding, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and Health and Safety legislation.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in business development, strategic leadership, and income generation.
  • Strong understanding of the charity sector and its challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Chief Executive, Executive Team, and Board of Trustees.
