About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Residential Manager to lead our Children's Home in Powys. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of our residents, working closely with our multidisciplinary team.
  • Manage and supervise a small team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with families and carers to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents, working together to achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Ensure the Home is compliant with all relevant regulations and legislation, including the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014 and the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016.
  • Monitor and manage the Home's budget, ensuring financial stability and effective use of resources.
Requirements
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Children and Young People's Residential Management) for Wales and Northern Ireland, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a senior management role within a residential children's home, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, residents, and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of the Home.
