**The Opportunity**

Prospero Health & Social Care are looking for Experienced Support Workers to engage in temporary contracts to deliver the very best standards and quality of care to a Children's Residential organisation that also specialises in Education.

This role will involve caring for these children and young people, assisting them with day-to-day tasks, and supporting them as and when required, providing a safe and nurturing environment for individuals.

You will implement care plans in collaboration with the team you are working with, support young people in developing their living skills and access education / therapy, promote positive behaviour and helping individuals to manage their emotions and behaviours effectively, and help build positive relationships with the individuals themselves, their families and other professionals working in care.

- Full time / Part time - Full Time with varied shift patterns to suit work / life balance.
- Hours - Long Days, Waking Nights, and Sleep in shifts available.

**Requirements**:

- To provide professional references that cover 3 years.
- Must have a Can-Do attitude. A kind, caring, flexible, patient manner, and an ability to remain calm when faced with challenging behaviour and situations as and when they occur. To be able to liaise with professionals.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 36 months
Part-time hours: 24 - 56 per week

**Salary**: £14.50-£15.50 per hour
